MICCAI 2011 Young Scientist Awards
Best paper prizes in 5 different categories for young scientists presenting their papers at MICCAI. To be eligible for consideration for a MICCAI Young Scientist Award, the applicant must be the first author of a paper and a student at a recognized university at most two years prior to the paper submission deadline of the conference.
Selection Process
- 29 papers with first author a graduate student or early career scientist, including every eligible oral presentation and every other papers with a weighted average reviewing score ≥ 5.
- Award Committee voted on selecting the top papers by majority voting.
- Top 14 papers had at least 3 votes.
- Top 14 includes 9 orals and 5 posters.
- Award Committee voted on ranking the Top 14 papers during the conference including the presentation (oral or poster).
